Another Fun Saturday

First thing this morning, Ella and I hung yarn scraps
for the birds to use in their nests. It will be a little game of looking
around the yard all summer to see if they used any of them.
Then we just hung out in our jammies and played
 and made yummy cupcakes
until it was time to meet Emma and her Mom
to watch the Lorax, and it was such a good movie.
The rest of the day was just an Ella and Mom day.
We took some funny pictures, ate pizza, and then we
picked up all of Ella's gear for Tee Ball. Pants,
pink socks, and pink cleats. Can't wait to see her play!

Busy, Fun Day

We packed an awful lot of fun into this Saturday.
We met Landrey and Courtney and headed to Jasper
for lunch and then on to Skate Palace.
The girls had a blast and lots of wipe outs of course.
Then when we got home Callaway came over to play
for the evening.
Lots of silly play and then
snuggled up to watch Tangled with some popcorn
after the little guy was in bed.

Important to her

I was cleaning today in Ella's room while she was gone.
I pulled back her covers to find this.
She likes to sneak things in bed with her at night and this
is actually mild compared to some of the piles of junk I
have found in her sheets.
Sometimes it is what she was playing with that day and
other times it is completely random things to fill the space.
She started doing this when we moved her from a single bed to
a double, so maybe it just makes the bed feel full to her.

So then I opened her bedside drawer, and I found
these treasures. Glitter glue, sunglasses, old cell phones,
tooth fairy pillow, jewelry, hair clips, dolls, and much more I'm sure.
So although I may not understand and I often get tired of picking
it all up, these are the things that my four year old holds dear.
They are important to her, and that is what matters.
